• The Vish Visualization Shell uses F5 as its primary file format.
• The Cactus Computational Toolkit and its AMR driver Carpet produces data compatible with F5, either through file converters provided with F5 or application plugins (thorns)
• An interface to Paraview using XDMF is under developement
• A selection of file converters is provided with F5

By 2010, F5 and converters are in active development. More converters and application support will follow over time on demand.
